Marmara Park Shopping Center is one of the largest and most extraordinary shopping center in Turkey, opened its doors on schedule in October 2012

KAYI Construction undertook the turn-key construction of the project and the developer, ECE Turkiye, brought Drees & Sommer on board at the outset of the project to serve as a consultant and the project manager. To prepare the project, the team in Turkey drew up a comprehensive project analysis with a precise schedule and also reviewed and assisted with the entire planning, bidding and construction process. Critical trades were identified early on and any difficulties rectified to ensure successful building progress.
The total investment volume stands at EUR 220 million. 200 specialist stores, restaurants, cafés, a fitness centre and a cinema complex can be found in 100,000 square metres of rentable area. The project also includes a parking level with 4,000 parking spaces.
The owners of the shopping centre are a closed-end real estate fund by Deutsche Bank subsidiary DWS and ECE, each with a 50-percent share. Finansbank, a Turkish bank, provided the loan of EUR 115 million. Back
